Unfortunately the wild fires are spreading fast in San Diego County. Over six thousand acres have burned and evacuations have been ordered. Combine record heat and smoke filling the skies and possible rolling blackouts, makes for a grumpy Rain. =(
Crews were busy Sunday repairing and replacing faulty electrical equipment and 2,200 homes and businesses were still without power after Saturday's mass outages, a utility official said.
Crews worked all night to get the lights back on after power was knocked out to about 80,000 customers Saturday, Anne Silva, a spokeswoman with San Diego Gas & Electric, said Sunday. Triple-digit temperatures were largely to blame for the outages as equipment malfunctioned in the heat.
