Happy July 4th!



You have to love a nation that celebrates its independence every July 4, not with a parade of guns, tanks, and soldiers who file by the White House in a show of strength and muscle, but with family picnics where kids throw Frisbees, the potato salad gets iffy, and the flies die from happiness. You may think you have overeaten, but it is patriotism. ~Erma Bombeck

Hope you all have an excellent 4th of July holiday weekend. Be safe, and enjoy all the delicious grilled food. The hot dogs and hamburgers, and cold iced coca-cola, and of course - the fireworks !

    tehehe I celebrated 4th of July from way over at this end of the world. One of Jad's friends is American and he threw a party for the 4th. We had hot dogs and sparklers (can't light fireworks here without a license).
