Hunky Mondays and Whisky

Hunky Mondays

One for the guys...

And one for the girls....

CHRISTMAS CAKE RECIPE
sent to me by Julie B.

You'll need the following:
1 cup of water
1 cup of sugar
4 large brown eggs
2 cups of dried fruit
1 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of brown sugar
Lemon juice
Nuts
1 bottle of whisky

Sample the whisky to check for quality. Take a large bowl. Check the whisky again. To be sure it's the highest quality, pour one level cup and drink. Repeat. Turn on the electric mixer, beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl. Add one teaspoon of sugar and beat again. Make sure the whisky is still OK. Cry another tup. Tune up the mixer. Beat two leggs and add to the bowl and chuck in the cup of dried fruit. Mix on the turner. If the fired fruit gets stuck in the beaterers, pry it goose with a drewscriver. Sample the whisky to check for tonsisticity. Next, sift two cups of salt. Or something. Who cares? Check the whisky. Now sift the lemon juice and strain your nuts. Add one table. Spoon the sugar or something. Whatever you can find. Grease the oven. Turn the cake tin to 350 degrees.

Don't forget to beat off the turner. Throw the bowl out of the window. Check the whisky again and go to bed.

A new Web site offers dozens of video clips of autistic kids contrasted with unaffected children's behavior. Some of the side-by-side differences can make you gasp. Others are more subtle.
The free site, debuting Monday, also defines and depicts "stimming," "echolalia" and other confusing-sounding terms that describe autistic behavior. Stimming refers to repetitive, self-stimulating or soothing behavior including hand-flapping and rocking that autistic children sometimes do in reaction to light, sounds or excitement. Echolalia is echoing or repeating someone else's words or phrases, sometimes out of context.

The new site is sponsored by two nonprofit advocacy groups: Autism Speaks and First Signs. They hope the site will promote early diagnosis and treatment, which can help young children with autism lead more normal lives. The site was to be available to the public starting Monday on the Autism Speaks Web site

My weekend was full of surprises;

Hot, steamy, wet and wild sex.
Lots of laughter.
Soaring temperatures.
Kinky sex on exercise machine with my Luva.
Confessions between friends.
The arrival of a gift from a friend in the mail from here Warning! Not Work Safe.
Drinking water until I felt like I was going to float away.
Spent some well deserved time alone with a good book.
Fabulous meals cooked outdoors on the grill. In the heat...Yes, I feel the love!
Naughty flirtations and whispered secrets with promises of more to come.
Midnight dips in the ocean.
An earthquake.
Temperatures over 100 degrees for the seventh day in a row.
Going through a DUI check point, I thanked the officers for keeping me safe on the streets.
Tempers flaring, glass doors breaking and accidents on the freeways.
Did I say great sex? Oh my, I guess I did!

I would like to take this oportunity to thank Willis Haviland Carrier for inventing the 'Apparatus for Treating Air' (U.S. Pat# 808897) granted in 1906, was the first of several patents awarded to Willis Haviland Carrier. The recognized 'father of air conditioning' is Carrier, but the term 'air conditioning' actually originated with textile engineer, Stuart H. Cramer. Hunky Monday

One for the ladies...

And one for the guys!

I had such a great weekend;

Friday night I took a huge step (for me anyway) and got in contact via phone to my matey Jules. She put me at ease right away with her warmth and kindness. After our conversation, I told my son Rainman that I feel like she is "the sister I never had and always wanted." Then he pointed out that our baby pictures look alike. (Clue in the Twilight Zone theme song here) LOL!
I spent time with an old friend and together we opened an old treasure chest full of memories from our past. There were lots of laughs and a few tears shared between us. Priceless I tell you!
I took my puppy Pepper over to T.'s house for training. Pepper makes me so proud, she is intelligent and a fast learner. While there Pepper discovered that rabbits are really fun to chase and catch. She proudly dropped the rabbit at my feet, fully expecting a reward which she promptly got!
My Lover made me a wonderful dinner and afterwards cleaned the kitchen! How sexy is that? Little did he know I had a suprise for him, I took him into the bedroom and I gave him a taste of how naughty I can truly be. ;-)

On Saturday, I went with friends to see this play, DOUBT.

DOUBT, Broadway's most honored play of the last season, is the winner of the 2005 Tony® Award and Pulitzer Prize. This provocative production, starring Tony® Award-winning Best Actress, and San Diego favorite, Cherry Jones and Tony® Award-winning Best Supporting Actress Adriane Lenox; written by John Patrick Shanley (Academy Award-winner for Moonstruck) and directed by Tony® Award-winner Doug Hughes. In a rare event for a national tour, DOUBT will tour with its original Tony® Award winning star.

Set at a Bronx Catholic school in 1964, Sister Aloysius harbors doubts about the charismatic parish priest, and his relationship with an alter boy. Sustained by blind faith, she already has taken the leap from suspicion to disapproval to judgment. But are Father Flynn's actions innocent? A test of will ensues. Our discussion over this play lasted for hours and at one point became rather heated. Thankfully we are all long time friends and have mutual respect for one another. If you get a chance to see DOUBT in your area I strongly urge you to do so!

The San Diego Chargers had a wonderful game on Sunday. Yay Chargers!
